WATERLOO, IA – The Waterloo Housing Authority is offering a free home buyer education course. The four sessions, held at the Waterloo Center for the Arts, start on Tuesday, November 12 and run for two hours each. Participants must attend all four to receive a certificate.
Topics covered include managing your money, understanding credit, determining what you can afford, applying for a mortgage loan, buying a home, and shopping for a home.
Registration is required and limited to the first 30 received. The class is a prerequisite for down payment assistance and voucher home ownership. Thanks to Veridian Credit Union for being a sponsor.

Each class is held from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
