Bid farewell to summer in style and kick off Labor Day weekend with a bang! Join us for an unforgettable night filled with amazing tunes, good vibes, food trucks, vendors, activities, and a beer garden to end the Friday Loo season.
Formed in early 2012, Sushi Roll quickly perfected their own unique blend of high-energy dance music and rock-n-roll swagger and then topped it off with memorable stage costumes, inspired by cosplay, anime, and superheroes. Founded by music industry vets and fronted by two of the most mesmerizing young lead singer’s in Chicago, Sushi Roll is made up of one part driving rock band, one part light-hearted pop, and one part over-the-top theatrical verve.
"As we bid a bittersweet farewell to summer, we are excited to kick off the holiday weekend," said Jessica Rucker, Director of Main Street Waterloo. "Sushi Roll will bring an unforgettable performance to Waterloo. This high-energy band promises to keep the party going, leaving everyone dancing and celebrating the end of summer in style."
“The 2024 season has been a great success! We are really looking forward to celebrating with everyone this Friday as we say goodbye to summer with a live performance from Sushi Roll,” added Kenna Smith, Administrative Event Specialist.
Food truck vendors will offer a delicious array of treats and meals to satisfy every craving and ensure there's something for everyone to enjoy! We are welcoming local vendors to share information about their organizations and businesses. They will be hosting activities, giveaways, and some will have products for sale.
