Waterloo, IA โ The Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum, 503 South Street, will be holding a special event on November 11 and 12, commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the sinking of the USS Juneau: Service and Sacrifice: Remembering the USS Juneau and the 5 Sullivan Brothers
At 1PM on Friday and again on Saturday, a 17-minute video about the 5 Sullivan Brothers will be shown. Following the video, Kelly Sullivan will speak about the significance of the event. At the conclusion of Kelly's talk, there will be 3 brief living history presentations offered in the upper level of the SBIVM related to the Sullivan Brothers, ending at 3PM.
In honor of Veterans Day, Veterans and Active Duty receive free admission to the 1PM program and the Museum (open 10AM-4PM) on Friday and Saturday.
The special program is included with Regular Museum Admission for all other visitors.
