Evansdale - A "Little" Christmas Light Show
Location: 617 2nd Street, Evansdale, IA 50707
Cost: FREE
Schedule: Nightly through December 25th. Weekdays 6pm-9pm, Friday and Saturdays 6pm to 10 pm.
We are a simple local family who one year decided to bring some Christmas Joy to our local Christmas Light Showdown. We've expanded this year to be bigger and better and are so excited to share that all with you
Hickory Hills Holiday Light Show
Location: Hickory Hills Park, 3338 Hickory Hills Rd, La Porte City, IA 50651 (South of Hawkeye Community College)
Cost: $10/vehicle
Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays from 11/28 thru 12/19 PLUS Christmas Eve (12/24) from 5-9pm each night.
Black Hawk County Conservation presents its brand-new Holiday Light Show. It will feature thousands of lights, illuminating the campground at Hickory Hills Park. Displays, designed by many local businesses and organizations, will feature whimsical displays and familiar holiday characters as you drive through in the comfort of your own vehicle. Waterloo - Prospect Light Show
Location: 1056 Prospect Blvd, Waterloo, IA 50701
Cost: FREE
Schedule: Nightly through New Years Day. Show hours are 5:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m. each day.
Waverly - Krumwiede Light Display
Location: 3708 5th Ave NW. Waverly, IA 50677.
Cost: FREE
Schedule: Nightly through December 27th. Sun-Thur 5-9pm, Fri & Sat 5-10pm, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 5-11pm.
A Christmas display featuring a few thousand lights on buildings and trees, and several storybook character figurines. We have figurines ranging from Frozen, The Lion King, Monsters Inc., Snow White, Kung Fu Panda, Paw Patrol, Shrek, and many more. Storybook characters aren't the only figurines to make the list. There are also several reindeer, Santa's, penguins, a nativity scene, a small church, and etc.
Location: 103 Eliasen Ave, Waverly, IA
Cost: FREE
Schedule: Nightly until January 1st; The show starts at 5pm and runs until 10pm Sunday-Thursday and until 11pm Friday & Saturday.
Other details:
- The duration of the show is about 20 minutes.
- While viewing our display, we ask that you are courteous to other drivers and our neighbors by not parking in or blocking driveways.
- Please put your vehicle in park and turn off your headlights during your visit.
- Tune your radio to 107.1FM to hear the lights.
- You are welcome to exit your vehicles and experience the lights close up! Just please be aware of traffic and keep on the sidewalk.
- Donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital can be placed in the green donations box located at the end of our driveway.
